Q1 2021 Alyce Match Featured Organization

One year ago, we launched the Alyce Match Program to amplify our platform user’s commitments to causes near and dear to their heart. Read more about where we saw the biggest platform giveback in Q1 2021 below.

Give first, give consistently; our main core value at Alyce. And a cornerstone of our internal culture, the way we do business with customers, and how we’ve built our product.

In January 2020 we announced Charitable Donations as a gifting option for our customers to emphasize this core value. New charities can now be added instantly to our marketplace. As a result, we can respond quickly to current events and crises in our communities. For example, this past quarter we added four local Red Cross outfits to our charitable marketplace that directly impact disaster relief efforts in Texas. These organizations provide vital support to local areas impacted by the unprecedented winter storms experienced over Presidents Day weekend.

To further amplify our platform user’s contributions, one year ago we also launched the Alyce Match Program to match contributions to the highest donated-to cause or charity every quarter. The Q1 2021 Alyce Match featured organization is Feeding America, an organization that offsets the hunger crisis in America by providing food to people in need through a nationwide network of food banks. Feeding America provided countless meals to neighboring families affected by the economic downturn this past year.

Giving back is especially relevant now. It helps bring a sense of “doing” to those who want to help but aren’t sure how. Since January 2020, Alyce platform users have contributed to over 380 charitable organizations. And our Q1 2021 Alyce Match featured organization contribution puts us over $300K in all-time platform donations. Alyce is proud to deliver an experience that amplifies the ever-evolving passions of our ecosystem this past year.

A born-again Bostonian and Martha’s Vineyard native (yes, people do actually live there year-round), I attribute my passion for making personal connections in my personal and professional life to my neighborly Island roots. I joined Team Alyce in January 2019 to be a part of a bigger story and have a little fun while doing it :) . While not riding the startup roller coaster, I love spending time traveling with my unbearably cute niece and nephew, attending New England sports championship parades and taking in the sun and sea at my favorite local beaches.
